Liquid Shampoo Pack

Make your own natural liquid shampoo at home with this easy, refill-style DIY pack. Designed for repeat makers, this pack produces approximately 2kg of high-quality liquid shampoo using gentle, plant-based surfactants commonly found in modern natural formulations.

This pack includes everything you need except water and is ideal if you already have basic equipment and want a simple, reliable shampoo base you can customise with your preferred scent.

What You’ll Need at Home

• Saucepan with at least 3L capacity
• Containers or bottles for the finished shampoo

Ingredients

Step 1

• Decyl Glucoside
• Coco Glucoside & Glyceryl Oleate
• Microcare DB (preservative)
• Chosen essential oil or fragrance

Step 2

• Lauryl Glucoside

Method

• Gently heat 2 cups of water in a saucepan.
• Add the Step 1 and Step 2 ingredients, stirring until fully combined.
• Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool.
• Leave the shampoo to rest for 24 hours, allowing the texture to fully develop.
• Adjust thickness if required by stirring in a small amount of additional water.
• Pour into containers and your shampoo is ready to use.

Microcare DB
An Ecocert-approved broad-spectrum preservative suitable for water-based formulations.

Essential Oil or Fragrance
Provides scent to the finished shampoo. Choose according to preference and intended use.
