Body butter PACK

DIY Body butter PACK

A DIY refill pack to make 200g of fabulous rich, natural body butter.

Equipment you will need:
2 small pots
Stick blender
Spatula
Thermometer
Container/s for the cream

The pack comes with the following ingredients:

Oil phase ingredients:
Olive oil, EVO
Beeswax, white
Emulsifier O
Organic Cocoa Butter

Last phase ingredients
Microcare DBĀ (preservative)
Essential oil or fragrance oil of your choice,Ā or un-fragranced

Please note: Due to the current global cocoa butter shortage, we are temporarily using natural (non-deodorised) cocoa butter in this kit. While the percentage in the formula is not high, the natural cocoa aroma may subtly influence or compete with added essential oils or fragrance oils. Most customers enjoy the soft chocolate scent, but it’s worth keeping in mind when choosing your fragrance.

Method

  1. Heat water* and oil phases separately to 65°C.
  2. Combine the two phases and blend.
  3. When the mixture begins to thicken, add the last phase ingredients and blend again.
  4. Spoon into pots.

* You need 72g of water.
If you have no scales, empty the bottle the oil phase is in and fill it to the shoulder with water.
This will be approximately 72g.
