About rose hydrosol
Soft, floral, and beautifully fragrant, this gentle hydrosol is steam distilled from New Zealand-grown Rosa damascena. A classic in natural skincare, rose hydrosol is a versatile ingredient with a delicate aroma that suits most skin types, especially dry or mature skin.
Use it as a facial toner, calming body mist, or linen spray. Itās also an excellent addition to water-based formulations such as creams, lotions, cleansers, or serums.
About hydrosols
Hydrosols are the pure co-product of the steam distillation of plant material. When plants are distilled to extract essential oils, the resulting aromatic water retains microdroplets of the essential oil along with water-soluble compounds not present in the oil itself.
Milder than essential oils, hydrosols are suitable for most skin types and can be used directly on the skin or in formulations in place of distilled water.
