Marigold mica is a warm golden-orange pigment with a soft satin pearlescent finish. Lighter and softer than our orange mica, it adds a beautiful golden glow to soaps, mineral makeup and cosmetics. It's perfect for autumn-inspired colours, citrus themes and warm sunset shades.
Mica is a fine mineral powder that reflects light to create a pearlescent effect on the skin. It is produced by coating natural mica flakes with metal oxides such as titanium dioxide and iron oxides. The resulting colour depends on the thickness and composition of these oxide layers, giving each mica its unique hue and shimmer.
The finish also varies by particle size: fine particles create a smooth satin sheen, while larger particles enhance sparkle and glitter. In clear melt & pour soap, Marigold mica creates luminous golden-orange tones with a beautiful satin glow. In opaque soaps it produces soft, warm swirls and elegant decorative accents.
