A versatile, plant-derived non-ionic surfactant, Lauryl Glucoside is made from natural coconut oil fatty alcohols and glucose from corn starch, offering a gentle yet effective cleansing action without the use of palm oil.

This mild surfactant is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin and baby care, and is widely used in natural, sulfate-free formulations. Lauryl Glucoside provides gentle foaming and cleansing properties while helping to stabilise emulsions and enhance viscosity.

Because Lauryl Glucoside has a naturally high solid content, its texture changes with temperature. In cooler conditions it becomes a thick, opaque paste, and in warmer conditions it softens into a pourable, translucent liquid. This variation is completely normal for this ingredient and does not affect its performance.
