Steam distilled in small batches from wild-growing Kunzea ericoides, our New Zealand kānuka hydrosol is spray free, preservative free, and full of natural character. It has a soft, herbaceous scent with a slightly woody undertone, clean, grounding, and subtly floral.

About hydrosols

Hydrosols are the pure co-product of the steam distillation of plant material. They contain water-soluble plant compounds and micro-droplets of essential oil that give each hydrosol its distinctive scent and gentle properties. Naturally mild and suitable for most skin types, hydrosols can be used directly on the skin or in place of water in your formulations.

How to use hydrosols

Please note: All hydrools are sold with open pour caps. For a spray function you can separately purchase a Mister closure 28mm neck, which fits 100ml, 250ml and 500ml volumes.
