Chromium Green Oxide

Chromium green oxide is a cosmetic-grade, nature identical pigment that provides a deep, muted green shade. It is highly stable, lightfast, and resistant to bleeding, which makes it a useful addition to colour cosmetics, especially in eyeshadows, liners, and artistic makeup.

It is also suitable for use in cold process soap, where it produces mossy green to olive shades that hold their colour well during curing. Its muted tone makes it excellent for blending into natural, earthy palettes.

Because it is synthetically produced rather than mined, this pigment avoids concerns about natural impurities while still delivering the same composition as naturally occurring mineral pigments.
