Kraft Tubes

Large, 85 g

Push-up style kraft tube designed for solid formulations such as deodorants, balms, or body bars.

Each tube holds approximately 85g of product (capacity varies depending on the formulation) and is made with oil-resistant paper. The inside is lined with food-grade wax paper to create a clean, protective barrier, while the outer layer has a matte BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) lamination, giving a smooth, durable finish that helps resist moisture and scuffing while keeping the packaging recyclable and suitable for cosmetic use.

These tubes work best with oil-only recipes. When powders are added — as in deodorants — pushing the product up can be difficult once it cools. Warming the tube gently for a second or two in the microwave before use can help. Avoid forcing the base, as pushing too hard may cause the tube to come apart.

Formulation example – Deodorant (makes approx. 3 tubes)

This recipe pushes up reasonably easily, depending on the weather.

Melt together:

• 68g organic shea butter
• 68g organic deodorised cocoa butter
• 20g carnauba wax

Remove from heat and add:

• 68g cococaprylate
• 40g magnesium hydroxide
• 40g arrowroot
• 20g white clay
• 5g essential oil

Stir to blend and pour into deodorant tubes. Allow to cool completely before use.
