Kiwi seed oil (also known as kiwifruit seed oil) is a lightweight oil cold pressed from the seeds of New Zealand kiwifruit. It is naturally high in alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3) and contains naturally occurring vitamin E, making it a popular ingredient in modern skincare formulations.

With a particularly high omega-3 content, kiwi seed oil is valued in facial oils, serums and moisturising formulations where a light texture and fast absorption are desired. It leaves very little residue on the skin and can help support the skin’s moisture balance.

Kiwi seed oil is considered a “dry” oil, meaning it absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a heavy or greasy feel. Because of this, it is often used in facial oils and serums designed for daily use.
