Chamomile infused oil

Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) is one of the most widely recognised calming herbs, long valued in both traditional herbalism and modern skincare. Our chamomile infused oil is made in Aotearoa New Zealand by steeping chamomile flowers in virgin sunflower oil (Helianthus annuus), creating a gentle, golden oil that combines the soothing qualities of chamomile with the lightweight, conditioning properties of sunflower oil.

Chamomile is said to contain naturally occurring antioxidants and compounds that support skin comfort, helping to calm sensitivity, reduce the appearance of redness, and ease the irritation of minor bug bites or sun exposure. When used in skincare, it is also believed to help brighten and even out the skin’s appearance.

The sunflower oil base absorbs at an average rate, leaving the skin soft and moisturised without feeling greasy. Chamomile infused oil can be used on its own as a facial or body oil, or incorporated into formulations such as balms, lotions, creams, massage oils, and after-sun products.
